PRESENCE

She said she wanted it,

She needed it,

She won''t take nothing less.

It wasn't something she was going to compromise,

I asked her.

How so heart tantalizer?

My legs are tied.

Look, beautiful maiden!

Can you see?

Is it too dark? Am I too dark?

I can't move as much.

Wait I free myself off this Chains.

Ooh, I hate them

The only freedom I got is the extension of them

That's why I wear this frowning face.

And nobody's gonna come and get them off,

I did check,

I did ask,

Nobody cared,

Nobody tried to help.

It's a lonely world.

What presence is it if you are not there?

DELETE MY NUMBER

Delete my number because I'm going to miss you. Because you're gonna pop into my mind on a rainy Sunday evening when a whiff of your old cologne catches me off guard- lingering in the corridors like an unwanted guest who was never invited to stay. Because I'm gonna call you to push and follow on the dreams you had. Because I'm gonna call you when I finally get the job you always said I shouldn't give up on, or when I get to places we always wanted to go together and don't know who to text the eager pictures to. Because I'm gonna want to call you when I'm bothered in traffic on a tad-of a civilization city and  wish it were still you I was on my way home to Please delete my number because I'll loose words to tell you when you finally pick my call. Delete my number because this piece isn't enough to express why you should consider deleting my number. @abu_king #Art of Heart.

I'm still here, Waiting by the river side. It's almost drying up, But I found a spot along the banks. A rock that beneath water spurts. It's little but trust me, I haven't gone thirsty since. Seasons have come, Some were wet, Others were dry So much dry I saw them giving up I tried to stretch my hands, But I couldn't reach them, They dropped down in-front of me. With their eyes staring right into my face Full of anger and pain. I stared back! Deeply.  I tried to search for their faces, But it was too bright, No, too dark. I saw nothing.  It stole everything But the water still flows. Maybe it's me. The Abyss  @art_of_heart

SOMETIMES

I want to just go away, To travel far, To hug the clouds at the edge of the world.  Away from all this misery, This unending cycle of torture. This unworthy world. That each time I tried to live, It stole away the moment. I want to jump. Jump high and never come back. Fly across the seven seas Maybe swim.  And land my soul wherever feels fit. But not in this heartless world, With it's snaring claws, And it's mouth wide enough, To gulp me away, To rub off all that is of me. But they told me to wait, That these are seasons. Have I waited?  I'm going to sip this glass away, The only truth I know.  That it's a cold world we live in.  @art_of_heart
